Blog: Rides ＆Walks

This blog is called 'Rides & Walks' because I take most of my photographs when I go out on my bike and some when I take walks in my neighborhood or in nearby parks. If the weather is good, I go out almost every day, usually just before the sun comes up.  My rides and walks are usually along the same routes or paths. One would think that there would be nothing new to photograph, but I enjoy finding things that maybe I didn't notice before and changes in the things that are there every time. The changes may be big, like the way the seasons bring different birds and flowers, or they can be subtle, like the way light reflects off the water or highlights the petals of a flower.  Each post consists of what I consider to be my best photos for each week.
